Our Junior 2 ladies kept up their impressive form with an excellent away win against a spirited Ballincollig side yesterday evening.
On a perfect evening for football Bantry started this game at a ferocious pace registering 1.2 inside the first five minutes.
Ballincollig opened their account with a point in the nineteenth minute but Bantry were playing some fantastic flowing football and defending solidly and another goal in the twenty fifth minute put them well in control and they led at the break on a scoreline of 2.6 to 0.3.
It was more of the same from the girls in blue for the second half scoring three unanswered points inside the first six minutes and when they scored their third goal in the seventh minute they were well on the road to a fine away win.
