On Saturday April 2nd, Charlie Bird will climb Croagh Patrick in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.

Due to Charlie’s Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis, the climb will be an immense challenge but he is determined to do it to highlight the vast mountains so many people have to climb in their everyday lives due to severe illness, physical and mental.

Bantry Blues-Healthy Clubs and Bantry Tidy Towns are delighted to announce that a number of organised walks around Bantry will be scheduled for the day, to help as many people as possible to Climb with Charlie. There will be both family friendly walks and more challenging / scenic walks, to facilitate all from the smallest of footsteps to the biggest.

All funds raised will be going to Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.
